A modern device gives everything you need. That’s the rule. And, the safety factor is also included into the rules of getting a new device. It’s common that an iPhone can be stolen and all of the data inside are gone. The theft opens your privacy and even secret information you would never let somebody else know.

Therefore, it is a great idea to lock your iPhone 3G and tell nobody how to enter the pass code. There is no reason to avoid locking your iPhone actually. You might ever think that it would be dangerous if you forget the pass code sometimes in the future. You shouldn’t be that worry since the pass code would just require 4 digits to enter. These are all you need to do to lock the iPhone 3G.

First, click on the “Settings” and continue with the “General option.”

Second, click on the “Pass code Lock” option.

Third, you will see a sreen to set Pass code. Next, what you have to do is selecting a 4 digit pass code and enter it twice.

Fourth, you must always remember the four digits you use to lock the iPhone. And, you will have several personalization options to fill.

Fifth, the pass code lock menu allows you to turn off the pass code request as well, though it is not recommended, you can change the pass code and set the limit before the pass code is needed.

Sixth, for more safety, you can set the iPhone to erase all of your data if somebody enters the wrong pass code for 10 times in a row. Thus, you will feel relief since nobody can steal your data. Even if your iPhone is stolen, it’s difficult to guess the pass code you set.
