First, you have to backup all data you stored on the iPhone.
Second, get back the original settings of the iPhone. Fourth, while the process of installing the firmware upgrade is running, you are not allowed using the iPhone for another function. You must wait until the process is completed.
Fifth, when the installation process finished, unplug the iPhone and it is safe to disconnect. Turn on the iPhone and tap on the “Settings.” Tap on “General” and “About” to see if the new version of the firmware has been upgraded. The version number and the latest date of the firmware will help you to indicate.
