Some reviewers commented that the new 9780 looks awfully similar with its predecessor, but we better check it further inside rather than sticking to the outer design only. Don’t you agree?
The key specifications brought by the new handset are not surprising enough, for there have been a lot of handsets created lately. It has 2.4-inch HVGA display with 480 x 360 pixels, and the processor comes with 624 MHz CPU and 512 MB of RAM. The built-in camera seems to be standard one, for it offers 5-megapixel capacity with autofocus and flash. The connectivity offers the same technology as many other sophisticated handsets get like 3G via HSPA and WiFi b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1.
The operating system is the latest BlackBerry OS 6, and the microSD sports up to 32 GB for your external memory. The dimension of the phone arrives at 109 x 60 x 14 mm, and 122 g, while the battery life is excellent with 6 hours of talk time and 22 days of standby time.
