Like many BlackBerry owners want to know, then it’s natural that you need to know what processors to run all the systems inside. Here is just a bit description of it and is trying to clearly reveal how your BlackBerry could perform well.

The first BlackBerry device was using Intel 80386 processor as CPU. The newer version of the device used Xscale ARM 312 MHz ARMv4TE PXA900 as processors, like the BlackBerry Pearl, 8700 and 8000 series. But, the Blackberry 8707 model used Qualcomm 3250 80 MHz processor due to its need of 3G network, and this model didn’t support PXA900.

Therefore, it is obvious that the 8700 series becomes the faster device to download, render, and even browse the web pages. The EDGE network and the 3G network work very well to give high speed internet connection as well. How about the BlackBerry 9000 series?

The 9000 series used Xscale processor 624 MHz. And it was started in May 2008. While BlackBerry 8520 model, or is well-known as BlackBerry Curve, came with 512 MHz processor.
