This is a good thing to share, especially for those of you who Twitter and BlackBerry users. The official Twitter app for BlackBerry has been available and hits the beta version. However, you will need to be a member of RIM’s BlackBerry Beta Zone first.
This new Twitter app fulfills what you asked for before as is support for geotagging tweets, new push notifications for mentions, threaded direct messages, integration with BlackBerry OS’ Feeds functionality, new languages and support for gestures on touchscreen devices.
This new app will work nicely on a device with BlackBerry OS 4.5 or higher. So, happy Tweeting!
