If you don’t want to use phone’s cradle to synchronize a phone, it is actually much easier if you use the Dell Axim’s USB cable. The USB cable helps you hook your Dell Axim into your Personal computer. This cable is good to help you sync the phone straight to the computer as well. Even if you want to add an AC adapter, it also is possible.

Okay, these are all you need to follow if you want to synchronize a Dell Axim using its USB cable.

First, plug the cable into such cable connector port you can find on the bottom of your handset. Make sure you do it correctly and the Dell logo is facing up.

Second, plug the USB end of the sync cable into a USB port on your personal computer and see how the monitor responds it. If the progress of synchronization is detected on the display, it indicates that the USB cable is compatible with your computer.

Third, you can add any files manually by dragging the files from your phone to computer. Create a special folder to save the files you dragged.

Fourth, check the back up process before disconnecting the handset from your computer.
