HOYA CORPORATION has launched the PENTAX Optio LS1000, this camera will available in the market at mid October 2010.This entry-level camera offers comprehensive features and performances at a reasonable price.

- 14 Megapixels camera
- 3.0-inch with 230,000 pixel LCD monitor
- 4X optical zoom lens
- Focal lengths from 4.9mm to 19.6mm (equivalent in the 35mm format to 27.5mm wide angle to 110mm telephoto).
- 15 shooting modes ( eight conventional modes including Auto Picture mode and seven new modes including Blue Sky and Sunset mode)
- Automatic face detection
- HD TV-quality movie recording (1280 x 720 pixels)
- Nine different digital filters
- Other functional features including MediaImpression 2.0, Digital Panorama mode and Auto-tracking AF mode.
