The Nintendo Company announced that on September 12, they are going to reduce market prices for Nintendo DSi and DSi XL handhelds. Previously known, DSi which features a pair of cameras and downloadable games, sells for $170 and will be downed to $149.99. The DSi XL, larger version of the DSi, sells for $190 and will be downed to $169.99. Meanwhile the DS Lite will still on $129 price.

The reason of these reducing is because demands on Nintendo DS is overwhelming. Even in the U.S., this year it’s sold for more than 3.4 million. But it might be another reason, since Nintendo announced that they might release a 3D version named 3DS, it features technology watching 3D without glasses.

It is you who decide whether you’d like to collect all the DS or just wait for the 3DS.
