Sprint released a phone with Sanyo, Katana Eclipse X. This phone is named for the famed Japanese sword, because it has the crisply designed clamshell-like. The unique feature offered from this phone is the capability for users to assign lighting effects to specific callers as well as alerts and messages. There are 40 different lighting effects including blink, pulse, echo and multi-color patterns. This clamshell phone has the LCD dual screens, with an interior 2 inches screen 176 x 220 pixels resolution and 65k color depth, complemented by an external 1 inch 65k color screen. The internal memory of this phone is 10 MB, but you can expand it up to 8 GB through microSD or miscroSDHC. The Phonebook memory can carry up to 500 contacts (with the ability storing 700 phone numbers, 1,000 emails and 500 web addresses) and support for caller groups and picture or ringer ID.

With the integrated speakerphone, you can easily use the hands free tools. Afterall, the phone is provided with Bluetooth wireless connectivity 2.0, communication headset, hands free car kits and file transfer. This phone is also equipped with 1.3 MP camera that offers three resolution options (1280 x 960; 640 x 480; 320 x 240 pixels) and features a 12x digital zoom settings, 5 picture modes, multi-shot capabilities and a self-timer.
