Android is growing, and it runs very fast. It seems you have just bought the Froyo (Android 2.2), and now the manufacturer is ready to update it with the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). To let you get updated, you have to know how to update the operating system instantly. Read on the instructions below.
First, press the “Home” button.
Second, select “Menu” button and “Settings.”
Third, select “About Phone.”
Fourth, click on “System Updates” and the handset will automatically check for the new software to update.
Fifth, if the handset confirms you “up to Date,” it means there’s no need to update new software.
Sixth, click on “Install Now” once you find the new software has to be updated.
