Google Android consistently releases its newest products using uniquely names of foods. And it is rumored that the latest version of Android will be called Ice Cream Sandwich.
Previously, the Android releases several names as follows;
- “Cupcake” for Android 1.5
- “Donut” for Android 1.6
- “Eclair” for Android 2.0
- “Froyo” for Android 2.2
- “Gingerbread” for Android 2.3
- “Honeycomb” for Android 3.0.
Reportedly, the Ice Cream Sandwich will be used for smartphones, unlike the Honeycomb that is used for tablets.
