To make it more easy to use, you do not need any special playert to view the video, you can do it on browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Chrome.

Download IP Webcam from Android Market or from App Brain and run the application.

Main settings and the camera preview will appear on your screen. Image sizes are available depending on your camera resolution, image quality can be adjusted. If you choose higher image quality, it will consumes more bandwidth than the average one.

Scroll down to the bottom and choose ‘Start Server’. The message about camera resolution will appear, press OK to ignore the message and hit start server. On the bottom of the screen webcam server URL will appear, stating ‘server is running at http://192.1.0.1:8080’. The video preview willsoon appear on the browser. You can also live stream from your camera to VLC Media Player. To view live stream directly in the browser, Java browser plugin is required.
