This article continues what we got from the XDA-Developers forum member spyderdreams. The Evo 4G can be our very first handset to be installed with Android Honeycomb custom ROM. Let’s just read on and follow the instructions given.

Spyderdreams found there are several features to work in this handset that were actually missing the SDK dump, such as, Bottom buttons, Widgets, Contacts, Menus, Bookmarks, WiFi and App Drawer. Add to that there are other features not functional but are being worked upon; Phone Radios, SD card, Audio, Music Player, Camera and 4G.

Now, you can follow the simple steps to install the custom ROM; download the ROM and copy the file to the root of your SD card. Next, reboot your phone into recovery and take a nandroid backup. Wipe your data, cache & Dalvik cache. And then, install the ROM from the zip file you saved on the SD card and reboot your phone once the installation accomplished.
