How to Perform Factory Reset on HTC Wildfire

This hard reset only affect memory on your phone. It will not erasing data and files on your storage card. Your phone will be on its default factory settings after hard reset.

You can perform a factory reset via settings:

1. At Home screen, press MENU and then tap SETTINGS.

2. Scroll down the screen and then choose PRIVACY >> Factory data reset.

3. On the Factory data reset screen, choose Reset phone, and then choose Erase everything.

Or else, you can perform factory reset via phone buttons:

1. Turn off the phone, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.

2. Wait until the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button..

3. Press VOLUME DOWN >> select CLEAR STORAGE >> press POWER.

4. Press VOLUME UP to start the factory reset.
