T-mobile G2 is the younger sibling of T-Mobile G1. T-Mobile G1, launched 2 years ago, were the first world’s Android phone.
Picture of T-Mobile G2 circulated on the internet along with the rumour, that T-Mobile G2 is American version of HTC Vision or HTC Desire Z.
T-Mobile G2 is T-Mobile’s first HSPA+ capable smartphone and has capabilities of HSPA+ equals 4G speed.
Here are the key features of T-Mobile G2 :
- 3.7″ WVGA touchscreen display
- 1 GHz processor
- Full QWERTY keyboard
- HTC Sense
- Wi-Fi with HotSpot capabilities
- A-GPS
- 5MP autofocus camera with flash
- Bluetooth 2.1
New T-Mobile G2 smartphone predicted to be launched on late September and probably runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS.

Is there another G2 phone out there…. I mean, one that’s really ugly? After the WalMart web page that surfaced last week, I did a search on WalMart’s site for G2. Nothing phone-related came up. However, tonight, there’s a cell phone cover for G2 and it shows a picture of “a phone”….. but not the Vanguard/Vision that we’ve all been lead to believe.
