LG GD 510: A Girl’s Choice
LG seems to really understand what girl’s want in a handphone. On october 2009, LG launched a cute little smartphone to the market. It really fits girl’s palm with its 97.8 x 49.5 x 11.2 mm dimension plus its 87 grams in weight. It was released in 3 optional colors; white, black and twilight with 3 inches, 240×400 pixel 256k touchscreen display. Although its display a little bit left behind with other smartphones, it has accelerometer and handwriting recognition to keep up. It has no WiFi and is not a 3G phone, yet what makes it worth is the solar panel attached to it. The solar panel can make your phone fully charged in 10 minutes so it may convenient in emergency times. It has quite complete weaponry in entertainment though, despite of its lacking in connection. It could play 3 audio file formats and 3 video file formats, and additional social networking such as facebook, twitter, and MySpace. It has 3.15 megapixel camera able to take pictures and capture videos.
You can have up to 16 Mb data stored in this little device so no problem with data storage. It was launched in the market for about 110 Euros so it might worth the money.
