Back Up Data Using Motorola Phone Tools
You can use the Motorola Phone Tools to save data such as from your Motorola phone to your computer. Or else, you can back up data before sync to prevent data loss.
Install the Motorola Phone Tools and choose the installment for Motorola Phone Tools that compatible with your system on your computer. Motorola Phone Tools are available for Windows 200, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
After the installment, you will be asked to select profile. You can select either default profile or create a new one. You can choose to connect your phone via USB cable ore Bluetooth. The software will detect your phone automatically and the set up will start.
The software will present a home screen and it will ask you what you want to do. You can choose Bakcup My Phone or you can look at the left navigation panel and look at Personal Data tab and locate the Backup/Restore feature below it.
Click Backup/Restore >> Choose icon shows a phone and an arrow toward computer.
Follow the instruction given, you will have to select several choices and prompt, and rename the folder. The dialog box will show the list of tools/items you can bakup. Make your selection and click Submit button.
Allow the transfer process, the data will be saved in the Motorola Phone Tools application group page.
