How to Utilize Motorola Droid as A Modem
This is what so-called tethering. You can use your Android phone as a modem. Don’t you think it is really good news to share? However, it’s true that not all of Android phones can be used as modems. One of good sample to tether is Motorola Droid. And here are some steps to do with your Droid phone to change it as a modem.
First, you have to install PDANet software on your laptop and your Motorola droid. I don’t think it’s important to explain what software PDAnet is, I just believe that you can find it by yourself and it has only limited space on the article o tell you the detailed information.
Next, you should enable USB debugging and just do the instructions written on the screen. When the Motorola Droid has been connected to the laptop, you should run the PDANet by clicking it.
Next step, you should make sure the connection is ready after you turning on the PDANet. Check your laptop and connect on the PDANet on the taskbar. If you want to disconnect, just click the “disconnect” or turn PDANet off on the Droid.
