Palm Phone: How to Setup Opera Mini on Your Palm T5
Opera Mini is now one of mobile web browsers should be downloaded into your Palm. I’m afraid you haven’t downloaded the browser, thus these are some steps you can follow easily to get the mobile browser.
First, launch your browser and download the Palm IBM Java Virtual Machine.
Second, download the Opera Mini JAD installation file and unzip the contents first.
Third, connect your phone to a computer using its cradle or USB cable.
Fourth, launch the Palm Quick Install Program, These are the steps: click on “Start >> Programs >> Palm >> Install Tool >> Add.
Fifth, navigate to the IBM Java Virtual Machine and choose “\WEME571JVM\JVM\ARM4T\JavaVMMidp20.prc” and then click on “OK.”
Sixth, launch the HotSync by selecting the HotSync button, and this will install the IBM Java Virtual Machine on your phone.
Seventh, launch the Palm Quick Install program by choosing “Start >> Programs >> Palm >> Install Tool >> Add.
Eighth, navigate to the Opera installation and click on “OK.” next, perform a HotSync again and this will transfer the Opera installation file to your phone.
Ninth, disconnect the phone and turn it on.
Tenth, choose “System >> Preferences >> Other >> IBM Java VM.
