How to Organize Your Phone Book on the Samsung I8000
There are two kinds of phone books you can find on your Samsung I800. The first one is on the main screen right bottom. This kind of phone book is written in white which is placed on the main menu left tab. Its icon short cut is called “Other”. This icon short cut is in the form of orange book. It also has a phone dialer in the middle.
Meanwhile, the second phone book is also located in others menu, but in the form of blue squire box with a pic of man Illustration. Those two phone books are just the same. If you click on one of them then they will correspond as the same phone book. It often causes problem for the Samsung 1800 users when they insert first name and then the surname. The phone book only shows you the surname, not the first name. There is no way to get the Preference selected or any viable way to correctly displayed by means of a menu adjustment and or selection.
Here are two steps that make it possible for you to select the display:
1. If you receive a phone book contract via Bluetooth or MMS, you can use the blue phone book to make a display selection. It can be done because it has a drop down display function which the main menu one does not have. Select the phone book entry/edit/File as.
2. The next step is click on the entry a tab. It will allow you to display which way you need it to be, the phone book call it “File as”. If you do the steps correctly, then it will show up the way you have made a selection to be displayed correctly in the main menu phone book too.
