Samsung I6500U Galaxy, an Android phone launched by Samsung is available for China market only. It has supports WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA 850/2100 MHz connectivity, plus GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. It featured a 3.2 inch AMOLED touch screen display with a 320 x 480 pixel resolution, handwriting recognition and Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. The phone comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording CIF at 15 fps, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection.

The device is embedded with an 800 MHz processor and Android 2.1 (Eclair) samsung-i6500uoperating system. In addition the 180 MB of internal memory capacity is supplemented by the inclusion of a microSD card slot, which, by utilising a variety of cards, can be used to expand the memory up to 32 GB.

Samsung I6500U Galaxy supports GPS, integrated MP3 and MP4 player for entertainment on the go, FM radio, HTML browser, document viewer, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk integration. For data connectivity, the device has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE class 10, GPRS class 10 and microUSB 2.0.
