The new Samsung YP-G50 comes with support for 3.2 inches touchscreen, 2 MP rear camera, 8GB or 16GB internal memory and microSD slot card, all will be run on Android 2.1 OS. Unlike the Apple iPod, this YP-G50 doesn’t have a front camera. The good stuff is, its media player supports various file formats to play including MP3, OGG, AAC, M4A, WAV audio, MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, Divx and Xvid videos. Unfortunately there’s no information yet about released date and pricing.

Lately people talk so much about iPods and iStuffs so It shouldn’t take much to feel repulsive about them)) I am sure that Samsung makes absolutely adorable and useful Android powered devices and this new G50 is not an exception. I would definitely but g50 instead of iPod touch because it has more privileges, as I recon.
I was desperately waiting for its release since the announcement. But so far no news about it and I am really hoping that it will be released in a nearest future! As I see it has so many features from smart phones like Wi-Fi module, 16mln colors TFT screen, Android market for downloading different applications and many other features. Though it will be difficult to fight with other smart phones but I am sure it will find its buyers)
