Sprint Samsung Rant is an easily pocketable messaging phone which has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for quicker text typing in text messages, e-mail and IM. It also has the 3G with high-speed EVDO network with some access to Sprint’s services like GPS and Sprint TV. Samsung Rant is also a good choice for cellular audio player, because you can download music from Sprint Music Store and store them on the microSD memory card.

Samsung Rant is actually named for Best Cell Phone at the 2008 CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment conference with its classic candybar-style phone, alpha-numeric keypad, five way navigator and send/end/soft-navigation keys bellow the 2.1 inches LCD screen with 176 x 220 pixels resolution on 262K color depth. Other features in this phone include internal 64 MB memory, phonebook storage up to 600 contacts and display last 20 received/missed/outgoing calls and ringer ID, 2MP camera in four resolutions, Bluetooth 2.0 and Hearing Aid Compatibility. The phone itself is measured 4.5 x 2.1 x 0.7 inches, weighs 4.58 ounces with 960 mAh lithium-ion battery that lasts for 5.6 hours talk time and runs on CDMA 800/1900 frequencies.
