HTC Desire HD receives update of Android Froyo which is this is not the major update to the latest Android. You might have hoped for the Gingerbread come to the device, for this is the hottest Android OS to run these days. The Android Froyo update is aimed to be a tweak and bugfix update and brings some good improvements of performance o the device as well. The software version to install is 1.72.405.3 and the Android version to 2.2.1.
There hasn’t been confirmed when the other HTC’s devices receive the Gingerbread update and what sort of custom goodies to come to the latest Android OS.
