The trusted sources have unveiled it that the new version of the Original Galaxy S, namely the Galaxy S2, will be built with additional chip, dual-core Tegra 2 for its processor.

At MWC the Samsung’s Exynos dual-core solution is told to be there within the phone, but it was explored later on that the chip is not so powerful to sate the expected high demand for the Galaxy S2.

The NVIDIA is supposed to be there replacing the Samsung’s processor, and it will be the Tegra 2 running at the same 1GHz as what Exynos did, resulting comparable performance. It’s meant to fill the supply gap, anyway. However, which processor to be built in your phone will also depend on your territory. Americans and brits seem to get the Exynos, rather than the Tegra 2.
