The internet calling which is often called as Wi-Fi calling on other phones like iPhone 4 is now available on Android phones. However, you should use the Gingerbread OS to enjoy this. Yeah, you can make and receive voice calls over WiFi, and your device will connect to the Skype or Gtalk like you see on your computer as well.

You would only use a third party VoIP (Voice over IP) account and follow the set up instructions. The latest Android Gingerbread is great and it cannot be denied that the OS comes with a lot more fun and new improved goodies rather than its predecessor Android Froyo.

Are you ready to update your device to the Gingerbread? Why not? As long as your manufacturer has provided the update to Gingerbread, you should make use of it soon!
