Skype for AT&T Phones will be Possibly Coming
It’s not something to be too provocative and let all AT&T phones owners go diving in their curiosity. The news is true explained by Skype that the company has hinted that video calling may be coming to AT&T devices in the near future. It would possibly happen after the announcement of their joint venture with Qik in which this arrangement will focus on improving the quality of video chat on capable networks.
The joint venture will integrate the two companies’ technologies to try and improve Qik’s video calling performance, especially on T-Mobile and Sprint. Other than that, they will also try to develop a version of Skype capable of running over Verizon’s LTE network.

Skype’s head of consumer product management Rich Osterloh explicitly confirmed us to watch out for some announcements there. But, it looks clear enough he didn’t say a future partnership with AT&T. We can just hope the joint venture gives us a better improved video calling.
