“My phone was stolen.” That’s what my friend just told me when I got difficulty in contacting him. I then realize what my friend has experienced possibly happens to everyone, including me. Fortunately, I surf online and get several good ways to share how to get your stolen phone back. I think what I want to share here is important, thus it would be great to share it with you. Well these are all you might need to get your phone back.

First, if it is possible you have to pull out the receipt and paperwork for your phone.

Second, get your phone’s IMEI.

Third, ask your service provider to give your original SIM number back.

Fourth, call the police and inform that your phone is stolen.

Fifth, contact your service provider and give the police report paperwork and request.

Sixth, ask the service provider to inform you whenever your phone is activated.

Seventh, you should use your original number, do not get rid of it.

Eighth, for a smartphone owner, it would be great to download and install a security app like MobileMe or iTag to remotely lock your phone.
